Shaping the National Occupational Standards in Energy Efficiency Assessment and Advice

II Aspire is delighted to announce that they have been appointed by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) to review the Energy Efficiency Assessment and Advice National Occupational Standards (NOS) for historic and traditional buildings, during 2023-24.

NOS describe what an employee needs to do and needs to know, to perform a work activity. They are subject to formal consultation and approval processes and are approved by UK Government regulators.

NOS are also a key component for many qualifications and apprenticeship frameworks.

Get Involved

To ensure the NOS incorporate the latest innovation and working practices in the sector, and are fit for purpose, we invite industry representatives (including employers, training providers and professional bodies) to get involved.

A series of workshops will be scheduled to review the NOS suite, with the initial sessions scheduled for October 2023, date and time to be determined.

To register your interest, please email ruth.roy@iiaspire.co.uk

“I was delighted with the level of detail. It is very reassuring and I would like to that you for an excellent job and completing it so quickly.”
